Dear Alumna/Alumnus,
On behalf of all the Faculty, Staff and Students of NIT (formerly REC) Srinagar I am immensely delighted to invite you to the Alumni Meet scheduled on 15 Feb 2021, during 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
As students we have certain dreams and plans for the future. We then embark on the career course. But it’s great to be in touch with the place where you laid the foundation of your dreams. An Alumni Meet is just that.
Let us get together to reminisce old time, walk down the memory lane and talk about the future. Let us catch up with old batchmates, professors, staff and memories of days gone by.
After passing out of this great institute you have carved your unique identity and you are working and contributing to make the world a better place. I am sure that this great institute has to do a lot with what you have achieved in your life. It’s time now to look back at your Alma Mater and observe where it stands and how you can contribute in taking it to greater heights. We would certainly want your continued and valued association with our esteemed institute.
We would have liked to invite you to attend this meet in person so that you could once again experience the nostalgia of NIT (formerly REC) Srinagar campus but it could not be possible due to prevalent COVID-19 pandemic situation. We are planning to conduct this meet essentially in an online mode but there will be some Alumni (especially in-house alumni), NIT Faculty and Staff that may participate in the meet in person in the institute campus premises. For such people the protocol like keeping social distance etc will be maintained. For those alumni who would be participating in the meet in an online mode, we will try our best to make you feel like you had participated the meet in person.
